Player contact: PM, [plurk.com profile] Nightsail
Backtagging: Into forever. ❤
Threadhopping: If everyone's cool with it, sure.
Fourthwalling: He's likely to think your character's lost their grip on reality, tbh.
Content Warnings: Just a heads-up that there is violence in his backstory, mostly toward the end? He's a fighter, and it hasn't always gone his way.... But I don't think you'd need to warn for anything in particular, for me....

Mind Reading:
Him reading others: Ordinarily, he's sorta constantly "listening" for others' feelings, in his immediate vicinity. Sorta acts like a lie detector, too. It's not all that much past what someone with excellent but otherwise mundane sorts of observation skills might be able to do, unless he's actively trying... and he may not be able to read everyone else all that well anyway. He's not great at reading others' thoughts even if he's trying. It mostly only works best between him and his weird magic trees.

Others reading him: He's an open book, for the most part. Go right ahead. In fact, give me a heads-up, and I'll do my best to offer you up whatever you might want on that front! Especially since, in his native setting, him projecting ideas was how he usually "talked" with others. (He only really knows the elves' language, okay....)

Physical Contact: In general? Sure. He's not particularly touchy, but he's not all that adverse or anything, either. He's more just... not used to it.

Flirting/Romance: You know he's literally a tree, right? You'd get more and better reciprocation from your bathroom mirror.

Hugging: Possibly, but he's not the most likely to initiate.

Kissing: Romantically? ...Probably just going to confuse him if someone tries it. Why would someone want to do that with him? He's just not interested in those sorts of relationships for himself....

Fighting: Go ahead; he's a fighter. He may not like violence, but that doesn't mean he can't hold his own. He tends to go for ending the threat asap: disarming, stunning/knocking someone out, tossing them away, knocking their breath out, catching/tangling and tying them up, etc. He's not likely to aim for outright inflicting serious injury or death, himself... and not if his opponent hasn't managed to do it to someone other than himself first... at least, not while in his right mind.

Injuring him: Sure! It won't even be gory. Because trees.

Death: So... he's going to be very difficult to kill. He's a literal tree, just in humanoid shape. More specifically, he's technically a haunted tree in humanoid shape; even if his body's destroyed, he might just pick up a new one, so uh... there's that? That said, I'd be down for plotting something.... ;)
